For cradle cap, it helps manage symptoms while helping soften and loosen flakes and scales so they can be gently washed and brushed away. The soft silicone brush does no chemistry of its own. Once the shampoo has softened the scales, its gentle bristles help lift them without scratching, and between baths the same brush works as a soothing scalp massager. Leave it on for 1 to 2 minutes, and while it sits use the soft silicone brush in gentle circular motions to help loosen and lift softened flakes and scales, then rinse thoroughly.
The soft silicone brush may also be used gently between baths, as needed, to help lift loose flakes and massage the scalp. Many babies find the brushing soothing.
