Choose the formula for its intended use
The Medicated Wash contains pyrithione zinc 0.95%. The Daily Wash and Cream have different roles and do not contain this medicated active. Compare the complete ingredient lists and Drug Facts before choosing a product.
If you have a known ingredient allergy, check the entire formula. A new, painful, spreading or unexplained rash needs assessment so care matches its cause.
Medicated Wash precautions
The current Happy Cappy drug label gives these precautions:
- Use the wash externally and keep it away from the eyes. Rinse thoroughly with water after accidental eye contact.
- Consult a doctor before treating seborrheic dermatitis over a large body area.
- Discontinue use and seek medical advice if symptoms worsen or fail to improve with regular use as directed.
- Store the product where children cannot reach it. If swallowed, seek medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

The Medicated Wash label identifies the product as dermatologist tested. A testing claim does not guarantee that every person will tolerate a formula or that it suits every skin condition.
