Is Zinc Pyrithione considered effective in treating the symptoms of seborrheic dermatitis, and dandruff?

“Shampoos containing zinc pyrithione (PZ) have been shown in many double-blind studies to be effective in controlling the clinically evident scaling in dandruff.”
