What is the pH of Happy Cappy products?

pH is a measure of something being an acid or a base. Acidic is a pH of less than 7. Neutral is a pH of 7, and basic is a pH of more than 7.

“Normal skin” has a pH of around 4 to 6. Skin affected by eczema can have a higher pH.

The pH of Happy Cappy Medicated Shampoo, Face and Body Wash is neutral. The medicated shampoo’s purpose is to control the symptoms associated with seborrheic dermatitis anywhere on the body and for dandruff on the scalp.

The pH of Happy Cappy Daily Shampoo, Face and Body Wash is acidic to match the pH of normal skin. As mentioned earlier, people with dry, eczema prone skin tend to have a high pH and dermatologists recommend an acidic (low pH) product to help bring the skin’s pH back to a healthy acidic level which can enhance skin barrier function.

The pH of the Happy Cappy Moisturizing Cream is also acidic to match the pH of “normal skin.”
