My baby had a really bad case of cradle cap. He was born with a full head of hair, but by three months old, it was almost all gone. His pediatrician suggested using baby oil, which didn’t make sense to me since cradle cap is caused by oil buildup. After some research, I found this shampoo and decided to try it. We used it twice a week as directed, and after two weeks the cradle cap was significantly better. His hair is finally growing back. I would give it a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it.

This product is fantastic! I picked it up as a last resort before seeing a dermatologist, and it completely cleared the flaky patches on my 9-year-old and myself. We found it works best when applied just to the scalp for cleaning, then followed by our regular shampoo for the rest of the hair, since using it all over made our hair feel heavy and coated.

LIFESAVER FOR CRADLE CAP! I used this shampoo during bath time and let it sit for 5 minutes. I used a scrubber in the bath and a comb afterward. I was able to remove four comb-fulls of flakes! Definitely works.

I was surprised by how well this worked. I applied coconut oil to my kid’s scalp for about 10 minutes, then washed with this shampoo 2 or 3 times and combed it out from the roots. Just one treatment cleared the cradle cap, and it hasn’t come back for about a year. Amazing!

I was searching for a cradle cap shampoo for my 5-week-old daughter and found this on Amazon. I wish I’d known about it for my son earlier! After three days, there’s a huge improvement. Please note that this product won’t permanently cure dandruff (at least not in my case), and honestly, I don’t think any shampoo truly can. But it does manage it, and it does it well. This has been the most effective dandruff shampoo I’ve tried so far. It leaves my scalp feeling hydrated and refreshed, the scent isn’t overpowering, and the ingredients seem fairly non-toxic. I’m still searching for a permanent solution, but this one definitely does the job for now. The quality is solid, though the pump can be a bit hard to use at times.

My three-year-old got cradle cap for the first time and I wasn’t sure what would help. This shampoo popped up in my search and I’m so glad it did. It works quickly. After two washes with a soft brush, most of the cradle cap was gone. Her scalp was slightly red but I don’t think it was from the shampoo. The next day her scalp looked better and her hair was softer than ever. It has no noticeable scent and is not tear-free, so be careful rinsing your baby’s eyes.

I’m really happy with this shampoo. I noticed a major improvement after the first use. She did lose quite a bit of hair that first time, but it was probably the cradle cap loosening rather than the shampoo itself. Now I use it every other day to keep the cradle cap under control. I pair it with the Fridamom scalp spray for moisture, and together they help slow down the buildup. It doesn’t keep the cradle cap away for more than about three days without use, but it’s still been a huge help in finally getting ahead of it. Her hair is also starting to grow back, which is great to see.

Even as an adult, this shampoo works great. I’ve dealt with a small patch of scalp thrush for years. Just a single pump added to my usual shampoo helps control dandruff and oil buildup. The pump makes it easy to use and it doesn’t leave hair greasy. You can also use it alone as your main shampoo and it leaves hair soft with barely any scent. The comb attachment is helpful for breaking up any buildup if you don’t wash daily.

My son started getting flakes in his hair and on his scalp after using a common kids’ shampoo/body wash, and at first I thought he just wasn’t rinsing well. Then I started to worry it might be dandruff or even scalp psoriasis. After switching to this product, the flakes completely disappeared. The only downside for me is the high price, but it truly works. Plus, the fact that it doubles as a shampoo and body wash is a big bonus. I usually don’t bother writing reviews, but this shampoo truly surprised me. My 3-month-old has pretty stubborn cradle cap and eczema. We tried a few different shampoos including Head & Shoulders and nothing made a difference. After the first wash with this product, almost all of the cradle cap had lifted. Her scalp is still a bit dry, which explains some extra scratching at night, but the improvement is honestly around 80% after just one use. I’m planning to use it again this week to finish clearing it up. The difference between the before-and-after bath was incredible.

This worked amazingly for my son. He’s two and had stubborn cradle cap that nothing else seemed to help. PLEASE NEVER STOP MAKING THIS PRODUCT! It is literally a life saver, I would not be able to live a normal life without it. There is no alternative in my country for fungal skin issues. I have seb derm type condition on my chest and nothing keeps it at bay like this. I have been using this religiously for 3 years now and it's the best product ever! As an adult with a skin condition this helps me every day when I shower. Buy this today if your baby has cradle cap! My photos are before the product, at 2 day use, and at 5 days. I did NOT use the product according to directions. I used it every day for 5 days with a cradle cap comb. After we had it under control I’ve used it once when I detected a small flake.It has the same active ingredient as other dandruff shampoos but this product is very gentle with no color or fragrance. I am such a fan!!

My baby suffered from horrible cradle cap, which eventually traveled to the creases in her arms and legs (Seborrheic Dermatitis). This is the only product that worked for her extremely sensitive skin after trial and error with multiple other body washes and creams that only seemed to further irritate her skin. It calmed my babies skin from head to toe, literally! We have used it consistently and there has been a dramatic change in her skin. It’s finally soft, moisturized, much less irritated and dry, and over all clear. It’s so nice to have found something that works for her sensitive skin. As someone who grew up with eczema as a child I was adamant that I wanted to do things differently with my daughter. I’ve been using your product for almost 8 months and it is by far the best of the best. Over the past few months I’ve also been using the lotion in her hair because it’s been difficult to find products that don’t break her out and I want to share that it keeps her curls defined and hydrated for a considerable amount of time. I wanted to share this with you. I’ll be looking into expanding your product line to include hair products. Because I feel as though there is a great market for it especially since most “natural” products are scented and not suitable for those with eczema. Thank you!

Hello! I am 56 years old with big wavy salt and pepper very thick hair, but for over 30+ years I’ve been suffering from a sensitive, itchy scalp. I was diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis/folliculitis in my early twenties and have tried everything to no success! But then recently I found your Happy Cappy Shampoo and it is the only thing that has worked. It doesn’t dry out or irritate my sensitive scalp. I am so happy and relieved! Thank you! As many of you know, cradle cap causes white or yellow scales on scalp or dandruff – flakiness. Well, in my case, we also experienced some thinning. I wasn’t worried because I knew it would grow back eventually but within 2 weeks I noticed his hair was growing already. With using only Happy Cappy, I was amazed! As always for better results, you must be consistent after each wash – I use the Happy Cappy Moisturizer as well.

Your Happy Cappy dandruff shampoo is the best shampoo I’ve ever used in my life. I am a 29 year old woman and for the first time in my life I had severe dandruff this summer (hormonal related). I tried a few options including the Nizoral and Tarzum but they didn’t do much for me (the tar one was sticky and smelly and didnt even provide temporary relief). I didn’t look at Head & Shoulders because it had fragrances and dyes and other ingredients I avoid in shampoos. I found your shampoo because I figured baby dandruff shampoo might be formulated better and it was recommended on a blog. Your shampoo provided immediate relief and lasted about a day and then I’d need to wash again with it to get relief (again the dandruff was insanely severe, my hair was falling out etc). Although I saw improvement quickly, after about a month things got closer to normal (no constant scratching) and now about 4 months later (still using your product) my scalp is actually better and cleaner than it has ever been in my whole life. I had been searching for a shampoo that would cleanse gently without over-stripping oils, and also one that didn’t leave a residue/film/cause scalp build up. I tried different natural brands but they were irritating (essential oils can be inflammatory and can leave a residue) and they didn’t really seem to actually clean my scalp. My hair would always feel sort of sticky out of the shower and there was always a little build up, I always had at least a little dandruff even right after a shower no matter the frequency or shampooing. I tried a lot of home remedies one year, from eggs to green clay to vinegar to jojoba oil, nothing worked and many made things worse (diluted vinegar was nice for conditioning but it BURNS if you just shaved). I didn’t know what to do, I already was using ZERO hair products other than shampoo and a little conditioner at the tips. Now with your shampoo, for the first time since I was a kid my scalp actually feels clean and my hair doesn’t feel sticky or weighed down. I always wait a few months before I recommend a product to others, and now I am recommending this shampoo to everyone I know. I never buy products from large companies (not really due to ethical reasons, I just don’t like the ingredients they use) so I’m so glad I found this!!!! Never change the formula. And I like that its unscented, so unoffensive. Nothing smells better than a clean scalp!
