These washes are designed to support gentle, effective cradle cap care for infants.

Ingredients and Product Use Overview

Our Medicated cradle cap wash contains pyrithione zinc, which helps gently loosen and wash away visible flakes. It is paired with soothing botanical ingredients such as licorice root extract and apple fruit extract to help keep the scalp feeling calm and comfortable during cleansing.

Our Daily gentle wash is formulated for everyday use with lightweight, rinse-clean moisturizers, including glycerin, aloe, oat, and apple fruit extracts, provitamin B5, and hyaluronic acid. These ingredients help cleanse and hydrate without leaving residue, making this wash ideal as babies’ hair grows thicker.

Why We Recommend Washes, and Not Creams, for the Scalp

Cradle cap is best managed with regular cleansing and gentle exfoliation, which is why our approach focuses on wash-off formulas for the scalp. Leave-on creams can be difficult to remove from hair and may lead to buildup as hair grows thicker.

Where Our Moisturizing Cream Fits In

Our moisturizing cream is designed for skin, not the scalp. It helps support dry or sensitive skin on areas such as the face, neck, behind the ears, and body. For newborns with little to no hair, a small amount may be used sparingly on the scalp if needed. Once hair becomes thicker, we generally recommend sticking with rinse-off washes to keep the scalp clean and comfortable.

How to Use Our Cradle Cap Care Routine

Step 1: Cleanse the Scalp

Apply the Medicated cradle cap wash to wet hair and scalp. Massage gently with your fingertips to cleanse and help loosen visible flakes. If desired, use a soft cradle cap brush during bath time to gently lift scales. There is no need for vigorous scrubbing.

Rinse thoroughly. The formula is designed to rinse clean, helping prevent greasy or weighed-down hair.
Use at least 2–3 times per week, or as directed by your healthcare provider.

Step 2: Maintain with Gentle Daily Cleansing

On non-medicated days, use the Daily gentle baby wash to keep the scalp and skin clean and comfortable without over-drying or buildup.

Step 3: Moisturize the Skin (Not the Hairy Scalp)

After bathing, apply the moisturizing cream to dry or sensitive skin areas such as the face, neck, behind the ears, or body.
