Seborrheic dermatitis is commonly called “cradle cap.” Happy Cappy is the first shampoo, face, and body wash made specifically for children of all ages with the active ingredient, pyrithione zinc, which has been proven safe and effective for relief of seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff. It also contains the natural ingredient Licorice Root Extract to help soothe redness. Happy Cappy’s gentle, fragrance free, dermatologist tested, dye free, paraben free, sulfate free, BPA free, and gluten free formula eliminates flaking while still leaving the skin and hair soft and smooth. Results can be seen in one or two washes. However, most will see significant improvement after 1 to 2 weeks of use. For thick scale build-up, use daily and leave the shampoo on for 1-2 minutes before rinsing. Once scaling and flaking is under control, we suggest using at least 2 times per week.

Complies with pediatric dermatologist recommendations for dry, itchy, irritated, eczema-prone skin by being a sulfate-free cleanser that is hypoallergenic and has a low pH. Sulfates are lathering ingredients that can strip skin of its natural moisture, and hypoallergenic means should have little chance to cause irritation. Happy Cappy does not contain irritating perfumes or colorants and uses plant-derived ingredients to create lather. Happy Cappy has a low pH to match the pH of normal skin, which preserves the barrier function of skin.
