Parents Magazine Awarded Happy Cappy’s Dandruff Shampoo as “Best For Dandruff”

Dr. Eddie’s Happy Cappy Medicated Shampoo and Body Wash, has been awarded ‘Best Dandruff Shampoo for babies and kids’. The editors of Parents had guidance from a pediatric dermatologist–Dr. Sheilagh Maguiness.  The article focuses on redness and irritation caused by a helmet that was used to alleviate positional plagiocephaly (head shape deformity). Happy Cappy with active ingredient pyrithione zinc improved the redness, and the child’s mom even used Happy Cappy on herself and it alleviated her dandruff too!

In case you don’t make it to the end of the Parents article, there is more on the value of pyrithione zinc, “Kids with dandruff or cradle cap often benefit from a shampoo with a low concentration of zinc pyrithione. This can help eliminate scaly patches of skin on the scalp without causing irritation, and they don’t even have to be used every day to have a positive effect.”

The Expert Review Board at Parents have been supporting caregivers for about the past 100 years in every aspect of parenting. Read more what the Parents Editor has to say about the Medicated Shampoo here.
